The extensive experience achieved from construction of cryogenic air separation units and presence of engineering knowledge in Delvar Afzar Industrial Group led this group to a great world in the field of oil and gas. The huge natural gas reservoirs existing in Iran have made it the country in possession of the second largest gas reservoirs in the world. This has created a great potential for the natural-to-liquid gas conversion industry (LNG) for this country. Converting natural gas to LNG makes it possible to export gas to different parts of the world and also transfer gas to very remote areas in the form of liquid. If this industry is developed in proportion to its capacity, it could provide an income similar to that of the oil industry or even more than that for Iran.

Having a close cooperation with European companies who have the knowledge in the field of LNG an also relying on the cryogenic projects carried out in Iran, Delvar Afzar Industrial Group has taken action to start designing and constructing LNG units in small and medium capacities. It is hoped that Delvar Afzar Industrial Group will construct the first small and medium LNG units throughout Iran in the next years. Meanwhile, in line with execution of LNG projects, the project for separation of helium from natural gas which has rich resources in Southern Pars Gas Field has been included in the agenda of Delvar Afzar Group. Delvar Afzar Gas-to-Liquid Processors Company has been established with the mission of construction of LNG units.
