Establishment History of Delvar Afzar Industrial Group
Delvar Afzar Industrial Group was established in 1999 by Dr. Iraj Ghorbani. At first, the main activity of the company was to manufacture oxygen producing equipment for small industries such as fish farming and hospitals.
In 2002, Delvar Afzar Industrial Gases Company developed its activity to localize the manufacture and installation of Air Separation Units in Iran.
Considering the potentials of Delvar Afzar Company in Iran, LINDE Company as one of the reputable companies of the world in the field of industrial gases expressed interest to cooperate with Delvar Afzar in manufacturing of Air Separation Units. This cooperation led to the signing of an exclusive cooperation contract between the two companies.
In line with this, in 2004, Delvar Afzar Company concluded a contract with Khouzestan Steel Company in the form of BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer). The object of this contract was to manufacture and execute an Air Separation Unit for producing oxygen and argon.
Also in the same year, Delvar Afzar Company concluded a contract with the French company, CMP to design and manufacture cryogenic flat bottom tanks (FBT) in Iran.
In line with the activities related to industrial gases, Delvar Afzar Company concluded contracts with Cryonorm Projects Companies to cooperate in procurement of Water Cooling Systems and Backup Units.
Delvar Afzar Company also concluded an exclusive joint venture contract with SELAS LINDE GmbH for carrying out all activities of the said company in Iran.
In other fields related to the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, Delvar Afzar Company concluded various contracts with its business partner, Linde Company; among these, manufacturing of vacuum insulated cryogenic tanks and the contract for manufacturing of special pressure tanks for petrochemical industries under supervision and with certification of Linde Company could be mentioned.
